My Fellow Bloggers/Willy Warmer
I’m not doing a post about a willy warmer, I’ll leave that until another time. I wanted to write this post to give a shout out to my fellow bloggers across the pond who have been an inspiration for me over the last 4 or 5 months, and have been incredibly supportive. I’ve been blogging now for nearly 2 years and sometimes you just need some advice, a listening ear, support and shout-outs to get your posts out there for more people to see.
We follow each other on Twitter and some of us get carried away with conversations that border on rudeness, but it can be very funny. Allen T Sinclair asked what 3 things we had never done, and I was just being honest. I’ve never knitted a jumper, darned a sock or crocheted a willy warmer. And I suppose not many people have, but it’s honestly something I’ve never done. Then the threads began on the size of knit for a willy warmer and colours etc. Allen even posted a picture of one, and I didn’t know that it has been done before, but obviously there must be a knitting pattern. He threw me with the colours though, rainbow inspired! Anyway we were are to-ing and fro-ing and having a right old laugh so we were, and then one of these lovely people mentioned a ‘Cooter’ and that then set the ball a-rolling on that theme. It was very funny and if you want to check it out, it’s on my Twitter page on the right of my home page. Can you see?!
Anyway, this is a post to say thank you to these following bloggers. Please check them out because they are all great writers, incredibly funny, serious when necessary and have their own individual style.

Pip,
You are hysterical, woman! And, of course, I want you to knit a willy warmer for me to give to David for Christmas! Name your price. Well, please don’t go overboard on the price! Anyway, if you get a chance, you’ve got to go over to the Dungeon of Loom because we’ve been laughing and talking about wanting to get a group of Loomers together for lunch or dinner or the weekend or whatever, including you! How fast can you get to the States? BTW, thanks so much for the shout out! Allen and Carolyn and I met today for lunch and I’ve posted some pictures. Allen and I were talking about how quickly our core group of blog friends have come together and I couldn’t remember exactly when we started commenting on each other’s blogs; but I told Allen that you, Pip, were my very first blogger friend out of this group and that has meant so much to me! Anyway, I’m so glad we all found each other! Mona

So how do you feel about water? Maybe we could all do a cruise somewhere! I could really use a cruise in my life. I’ve never been on one, but I’ve heard good things from friends!

Aw, Pip! You’re so wonderful! Thank you for the shout out!
I mentioned wanting a cooter-cozy to my friend and he asked me what I was talking about and how it would even work. I’m still not sure, but it was fun to talk about!
