My Art,  My Diary

Diary Entry-21/05/2018-Venice in Watercolour/Pen&Ink

I haven’t written a post for the last few days because the time has been full of woe, worries and a car accident! I just haven’t been in the right frame of mind to write anything, mainly because my mind has been on other things. Thankfully, I came out of my car practically unscathed after having being rammed from behind with such an almighty bang. I had only a few scratches and my neck survived with only a mild case of whiplash, which I can say I’m very surprised about. My car’s good to me, it really is. I have nothing but admiration for it now.

Obviously, if you’ve ever been involved in a car accident you can feel shocked to the core after the event, even if you have received no injuries. I walked into work a jibbering mess, but they were lovely to me and settled me down with a nice cup of tea.

Anyway, the shock has abated now, so I got my paintbrushes out and painted a scene from Venice, which is a place I’d love to go. I need to get back on track with everything. x
