Did you have any Christmas presents last year that were pleasant surprises? I was fortunate enough to receive an excellent gift that has helped me in more ways than I could’ve imagined.
To keep it simple, and I’m quite unsure why I’m like this at the moment, but I struggle to fall asleep at night. It could be age related, the onset of insomnia or just ‘how it is!’Â Through advice given to me by friends and reading countless articles on ways to fall asleep; I’ve discovered that going to bed at the same time each evening, avoiding coffee from 6 pm and listening to the sound of rainfall through my headphones has started to work. Unfortunately, wearing cumbersome headphones whilst your trying to sleep has really become uncomfortable for me. Therefore, my dear son has bought me a ‘Sleep band Headphone’ and it’s brilliant.
It’s Bluetooth enabled and really easy to set up. For me, it’s worked wonders because they are so comfortable to wear without that really irritating earbud stuck in your ear. That’s really fine when you’re sitting or walking around, but when you’re trying to lie down on your side it’s literally a ‘pain in the neck/ear!’Â The fabric is so soft and it has inbuilt flat speakers within the headband so that you can lay on your side listening to your music etc in complete comfort. I’ve noticed whilst using them that they really do block out sounds that would distract you whilst you are listening to your music, podcasts or similar. The added bonus is they are easy to fold up too and take with you if you travel.
Anyway take a look, and they are reasonably priced https://amzn.to/4iVXbN4
