The Classic Woman’s Shirt/M&S
I’ve found it very difficult lately to find a smart shirt for work. It is one of the classic staples of a woman’s wardrobe. It may just be the time of year, but I haven’t had much luck in my shopping sprees over the past few weeks, and it’s been nearly impossible to find a simple black or white shirt for work – the sort of shirt that looks smart, simple yet classic.
Then, yesterday, I popped into Marks & Spencer’s only yesterday and found the perfect shirt. I’ve tended to avoid Marks & Spencer’s, thinking it to be quite conservative and a bit old-fashioned, but now this was exactly what I was looking for! (Come to think of it, there was a rather nice tweed twin-set that would go nicely with a set of pearls…hmmm.)
I was pleasantly surprised at the cost and extremely happy with my purchases. They are priced at £12.50, which I feel is a bargain as the quality is excellent and the fit is lovely. Â
