Great Apps of 2023
I hope you’ve all had a good year. I’ve been a little quiet lately, but I’m going to pick up the pace and begin writing a lot more.
I’ve been using some great apps during 2023, and I hope you’ll take a look and download a few x
Royal Match
A fun game with great graphics. The object of the game is to furnish the king’s house by completing different levels. It can become expensive, yet it doesn’t need to be. Once you begin playing you’ll understand. You can join different teams and help each other by providing free lives and vice versa. I’m pretty hooked, got to level 323, and haven’t spent a penny. Highly addictive and enjoyable. Plus, it has the added bonus of being free of advertisements. https://dreamgames.com/games/
Trivia Crack
A game that is very similar to Trivial Pursuit. You compete with your choice of opponent and answer as many questions based on subjects such as Pop, Geography and Sport etc. It’s another fun game to play and I can get quite competitive. If you love trivia, you’ll really enjoy this game. https://triviacrack.com/
FreePrints
Absolutely brilliant this App. You can get up to 45 free 6×4 prints per month. This comes with really good value delivery charges. Anything after that, there’s a charge for the same size or larger etc. Well worth it though! https://www.freeprintsapp.co.uk/
Crafts DIY
I can’t seem to find a link on the computer, but if you go to ‘Play Store’ you will find it easily. There’s an option of paying for extras, but no need. There are plenty of ideas for great crafts for the home and to make with children. I work in a school and the ideas are invaluable. Some great subjects include Macrame, Rock arts, Paper Mache, Quilting and seasonal crafts. I could go on! Take a look if that’s your thing.
Bored Panda
An old favourite here, so I must mention it again. It’s just full of really interesting stuff to read, and I look at it every day. Subjects today include: ‘Someone asks what’s the scariest thing in the ocean that has photo evidence, and 30 people deliver’, ’50 chucklesome signs that people had to snap a pic of’, ’50 adorable puppies training to be Police Officers’, and ‘100 must-have gifts that basically everyone will want’. If you’re a knowledge geek, it’s ace. https://www.boredpanda.com/
Artmind
An AI Art Generator app that allows you to create beautiful and innovative art AI pictures from your own photographs. There’s a good selection of subjects including fashion, comics, anime, mystical and so on. I particularly enjoy using the ‘Goth’ one. Some of them turn out quite funny too.  In my family we have played around with it with our photographs and some are impressive and some have made us howl with laughter. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.artimind.aiart.artgenerator.artavatar&hl=en&gl=US
