Cavalleria Rusticana ????
I first heard this after I watched the film ‘The Godfather’ and became hooked on listening to this piece of music over and over again. It’s not the ‘Godfather Theme’. I did a little bit of searching and found out that it’s called an ‘intermezzo’ which is a small piece of music used between the two sections of a musical work, in this case the Opera ‘Cavalleria Rusticana’. Â
