Collins Revision Books

Last year my child took his SATs in primary school. I work in the education sector, and a good friend and colleague of mine, a Key Stage 1 teacher, recommended I use these books to help him with his revision. They are called ‘Collins Revision Guides’. The reason I think they are so great is because they are straightforward and concise; good news if you have children with limited attention spans. They range from ‘Reception Years’ and continue through to ‘Key Stage 4’, which is ages 14 to 16.

The format is clear and helpful, with an example on the left page (example below) and then a corresponding problem or example for your child to have a go at on the right. Quick and effective. All answers are in the back.

You can buy them new or used on Amazon.
