Low Fat Pastrami Wrap

Facebook0Tweet0Pin0

I’ve been dieting for a couple of months now and I’m always trying to make new food stuffs to relieve the boredom. I came across this tasty wrap idea the other day, adapted it a little, and enjoy it immensely. Even my 14 year-old picky eater child likes it, so it must be good. If you’re losing weight this is low calorific, and if you’re not it has top marks for taste bud stimulation, so you could have 3. It has a fresh spicy taste. The plate does contain a scotch egg, which of course is optional. It was my son’s plate.

You will need:

1 wholegrain wrap or similar

mixed salad leaves

2 cherry tomatoes

3 or 4 slices of German salami or pastrami

2 or 3 thin chicken slices (optional)

1 pickled gherkin sliced (yum)

1 teaspoon of wholegrain mustard

1 tablespoon of low fat mayo

Spread the wrap with the mayo and mustard mix. Add all the other ingredients and fold. Shove into one’s mouth. Nom Nom x
