My March Shazams

My Lover, Not3s & Mabel. I really like this. My boys listen to this kind of music and I think some of its really good.

Run. Leona Lewis.. I heard this on the radio in the car 2 days ago, which was my birthday! I’d not heard the song for a long time and when I stopped the car and I  had to carry on listening. I love her voice and the song.

Ella Fitzgerald. Misty. Oh goodness, I love this song and she has such a beautiful voice. A slow smooch to this one is in order I think x

Creedence Clearwater Revival. Have you ever seen the Rain? I love the sound of this band and I heard this song on a movie I was watching the other day.

Alison Krauss and Grand Union Station. I love country music from America. One of my dad’s friends gave me a CD of hers years ago and I think her voice is very unique.

Paul McCartney, My Love. He wrote this for his wife Linda. Beautiful song and I love the Beatles anyway so I had to include one.

Bill Withers, Ain’t No Sunshine. I know its a classic but I never tire of listening to it.

Zaz. Comme Ci, Comme Ca. I love this quirky French song and I think this girls voice is very interesting to listen. You definitely know it’s her singing.

Simon and Garfunkel. Kathy’s Song. Sung by Eva Cassidy. Beautiful version.

Janis Ian, Tea & Sympathy. My dad had this album ‘Between the lines’ when I was a little girl, and I grew up listening to her. She sings so effortlessly and draws you in. I do actually feel quite emotional when listening to this. She’s singing about her true love that’s no longer there.

I hope you’ve enjoyed these.
